Thomas Tuchel has announced his England selection.

This latest England squad is for the November internationals, two World Cup qualifiers.

England have of course already qualified for the 2026 World Cup final as the group leaders.

However, they will want to complete the job in style by adding two more wins.

It’s England versus Serbia at Wembley on Thursday, November 13, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Then it is the kick-off between Albania and England on Sunday, November 16 at 5 p.m.

This team of Thomas Tuchel from England consists of three Newcastle United players: Anthony Gordon, Nick Pope and Dan Burn.

Eddie Howe had his press conference ahead of Brentford earlier this morning and said that while they don’t think it is a serious problem, Anthony Gordon could miss Sunday’s game and that they are sending him for scans on his hip to check there is nothing to worry about in the longer term. So it remains to be seen whether he will be part of this England squad.

The England squad (see below) was officially announced at 10am on Friday announcement from The FA:

The England senior squad that will play Serbia and Albania in the final round of the 2026 World Cup European qualifiers has been announced.

England sealed their place at next summer’s tournament in North America last month following their 5-0 win over Latvia in Riga, and Tuchel will now be looking to finish on a flourish and refine his squad with this year’s remaining matches.

There is a return to the squad for Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Adam Wharton, while Nick Pope is back among the goalkeepers.

And there is a first senior call-up for AFC Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, who has impressed Tuchel with his performances in the Cherries’ midfield this season, having also been a key player for the England MU21s during their U21 EURO success in the summer.
