Marte has been set aside for a total of 33 games with a sprained left ankle, and after his house was Burglarzed in July.
If these problems become unmanageable, this raises the question of whether Arizona would like to look to move his superstar more information for a Trek this winter.
Given that possibility, let’s look at three teams that fit well with Marte in a potential trade.
Seattle Mariners
Why not go back to where it all started? Marte spent the first two seasons of his main class career in Seattle and placed a .658 Ops, three gay and 50 RBI about 176 games before being traded to Arizona in November 2016.
Marte’s career started as soon as he came to the Diamondbacks, who would probably seduce the Mariners and their fans in a reunion. Second Honkman Jorge Polanco had a nice back-back season with Seattle in 2025 and hit .245 with 18 home runs, but it is nowhere near Marte’s production.
The acquisition of Marte would come with considerable costs, but there may be no team that is more equipped to make the move than Seattle, which has nine top 100 prospects, per Mlb.com.
Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays started missing the play-offs last season and with questions about the future of their core to lock up the first Honkman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. And keeping a five-races lead on top of the East at 72-51.
Acquisition outside the season Andres Gimenez has struggled on the record and treated with injuries, while Infrielder Ernie Clement has nicely filled in for him on second base when he was called. However, Marte would be a much better option, and an infield consisting of him, Guerrero Jr., Shortstop Bo Bichette and third Honkman Addison Barger, with Clement as a peloton player, would be filthy.
The Front Office of Toronto is apparently willing to spend, and they have the prospect capital to take a step.
Boston Red Sox
The third and final team that would be an ideal fit for Marte is the Red Sox. Their young core starts to arise at the Major League level, and it is time for Boston to make movements that benefit their present and future.
The Red Sox-Line-Up feels like he is missing a central of the order bat, who would immediately fill Marte while he had a solid defense.
Just like Seattle and Toronto, Boston has one strong farm system And enough money to spend, after he had loaded the whole of the designated Hitter Rafael Devers’ contract in the Blockbuster trade with the San Francisco Giants in June.
