If you are a Google Pixel 10 -series phone owner, a mandatory function limits the battery life of your device. Whether that is a good or not, depends on how you approach it.
Earlier this year, Google introduced a health care function for Pixel 9A. Since lithium ion batteries have been broken down over time, Google explained A support page Assigned to the function, it is actually favorable for your battery to limit the capacity as soon as it touches a certain number of loading cycles.
This means that your phone has a little shorter battery life every day over time and in exchange for a longer lifespan in general.

Speak with Android AuthorityGoogle confirmed that the Pixel 10 is supplied with this built -in function. This includes each phone in the Line -up – the Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. And just like the 9A, you don’t have the option to switch it off.
Battery health assistance starts to lower the voltage of your phone at 200 loading cycles (or only about seven months if you charge every day), Google said, and continues to 1000 loading cycles.
Google has not exactly had a great history with its device batteries. The 7A had so important that Google offered them to replace them for free, and the 6a had several reported fires.
Why Battery Health is not correct for some people
The problem here is the lack of choice. Most people will touch 200 load cycles in less than a year of use. For those who upgrade their phone every entire year or so, they would still get a new one by the time their device has noticeable battery breakdown without this function. They would probably just roll with the option “Better but worse later”. But Google doesn’t give them that option. There are also steps that you can take to extend the battery life of your pixel.

You can see if the battery of your phone is limited by going to Settings> Battery> Battery Health. You can check the number of battery cycle by going to Settings> about telephones> battery information.
