4th Annual Lunar Block Party – North Hollywood (Sat January 24)
Join us for this free community festival celebrating Lunar New Year on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood on Saturday!
This street festival brings together Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese cultural traditions with arts and crafts stalls, performances, interactive activities and a vibrant craft market curated by MAUM. You’ll find food trucks and Asian vendors, traditional music and dancing, and kid-friendly creative stations.
Dine LA Restaurant Week (January 23 – February 6)
Los Angeles is known to have some of the best restaurants in the world. Hundreds of participating LA restaurants are offering special lunch and dinner menus at discounted prices. It’s a great way to explore diverse cuisines, from casual neighborhood spots to upscale eateries in the city.
Whether you like Italian, Korean, vegan or tasty steakhouse, you can try composed multi-course meals for a fixed price. Reservations are recommended as restaurants fill up quickly.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Brooklyn Nets (Sat January 24)
A real showdown between Los Angeles and New York will take place at the Intuit Dome on Saturday. The Clippers will take on the Brooklyn Nets at 6:00 PM PST.
Amateur Boxing Show LA (Sat January 24)
Boxing UA is hosting a sanctioned amateur boxing show in Los Angeles this weekend 1437 S Oak Street, Los Angeles, 90015 on Saturday at 12:00 PM PST. This event will spotlight some of the rising stars of the LA boxing community, so don’t miss this exciting show!
The Getty Drawing Days – Getty Center (Sun January 25, 11am – 3pm)
The Getty Center is hosting a free art event where visitors of all ages can practice drawing from live, costumed models under the guidance of guest artists. Materials will be provided and the event will take place in a relaxed environment on the grounds of the Getty Center. It’s designed for both beginners and experienced artists, making it fun for families and creative people who want a hands-on art experience!
Pasadena Comic Con (Sun Jan 25)
Pasadena Comic Con is a one-day pop culture convention held at the Pasadena Convention Center that brings together fans of comics, sci-fi, animation, gaming, toys and more. It’s a lively, family-friendly event where people of all ages come together to celebrate the things they love.
From superheroes and anime characters to classic sci-fi icons and cartoon favorites, there is so much to discover at this event. There will be panels and Q&As with voice actors, guest appearances from celebrities and creators, a cosplay contest and multiple vendors where you can purchase merchandise.
Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship Watch Party (Sun Jan 25)
The Rams will be on the road for the NFC Championship, but fans can still cheer on LA at the viewing party at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. Tickets start at $10 for non-season ticket holders, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is also included in the ticket.

Drive-By Theater Festival at Zombie Joe’s Underground (Sat-Mon January 24-26 | ~8:30 pm)
Local actors, writers and directors will create and perform original short plays, written in just 50 hours, during this weekend’s live theater festival. The indie theater event is part creativity challenge and part performance showcase.
You can expect a changing line-up of brand new works every night, ranging from thought-provoking drama to experimental and sharp pieces. The rapid creation process gives the festival an energetic and unpredictable atmosphere that makes every evening a fresh and engaging experience for theater lovers.
Dance Camera West Film Festival (Thu–Sun January 22-25 | Multiple locations)
This dance film festival offers “four days of groundbreaking dance films, conversations, workshops and community gatherings throughout Los Angeles, with events at Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz, Colburn’s Zipper Hall and the Philosophical Research Society.”
There will be more than forty short films and feature films focusing on dance, choreography and performance art. Screenings will be held in various locations, including West LA and Downtown, featuring world premieres, innovative filmmaking techniques, and Q&As with artists highlighting the intersections of film and dance.

Community Flow Yoga at the Wende Museum
The Wende Museum is hosting a new weekly class led by certified instructor Kate O’Neal at the Glorya Kaufman Community Center. The community flow yoga class consists of a balanced flow of gentle warm-ups, strength-building vinyasa and a restorative cool-down.
Designed for all experience levels, this class offers a chance to reset, recharge, and move consciously in a unique cultural space. As with all Wende Museum public programs, the class is free to attend and begins at 10:30 am

Griffith Observatory
The Griffith Observatory offers some of the best views of the city, along with an educational astronomy museum and a free public telescope for visitors to look through. Admission to the Griffith Observatory is free.
Art walls of Venice
Head to Venice Beach this weekend to visit the Venice Art Walls. This is a free activity for visitors to admire the artwork of local LA graffiti artists and muralists.
If you are interested in contributing your own artwork to the exhibition, you must obtain a permit and paint during designated weekend hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
