Newcastle United has finally agreed to sign another center-back.
Long-term target Malick Thiaw must draw in particular after Newcastle has agreed a deal worth £ 30 million plus add-ons for the German international in the last 24 hours.
The 24-year-old played a few minutes of the 1-1 draw of Milan with Leeds in Dublin on Saturday, but was not involved today because the Serie A Giants was 4-1 on Stamford Bridge 4-1.
Milan Baas Max Allegri wanted to keep the 6FT 4 ″ defender in the San Siro after his impressive displays during the previous season, and that is shown on the basis of his comments after the game on Sunday afternoon.
Speak with Sky Italy (via @Milanposts), Allegri revealed his disappointment about losing the Center-Rug, which confirms that Milan is now looking for his replacement:
‘Thiaw? It’s a shame he left. It is a pity that he leaves.
“The club is working on finding a replacement, that is the transfer market that you must accept and continue to work.
“In the team I have excellent players who have made themselves available for each other.”
As reported, ThiaW has to jump on a flight to Tyneside on Sunday evening after his return to Italy.
He will then complete a medical and all formalities in the next 48 hours, with a four -year contract to sign in the coming days.
