When the last putt of Tommy Fleetwood dropped at the Tour Championship for his long-awaited first PGA Tour victory, it was again a sign of the board for the winning putter of the Tour.
With his Taylormade Spider Tour Black, Fleetwood profit no. 13 checked for the Putter family on the PGA Tour 2025, more than double the other model in the 39 FedEx Cup regular seasonal events.
But the Spider was not the only successful Putter family, because Scotty Cameron had won three different putter shapes this year, and as a brand he collected 11 victories of 10 different players.
Keep reading below for more information about the winning putters of 2025 on the PGA Tour.
1. Taylormade Spider (13 wins, 7 different players)
Taylormade and Jack Hirsh/Golf
No putter won more than the Taylormade Spider.
Although the total number of victories can largely be attributed to Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler who achieve eight victories (including three Majors) with their Spider Tour X and Spider Tour X L-Neck, the seven different winners of the Putter Family this season is still more than any other putter family.
Fleetwood uses the slightly larger Spider Tour Head, just like Nick Taylor when he won the Sony Open in January with a Spider Tour Red. Brian Harman also won the first victory for the new Spider ZT in the Valero Texas Open when the model was still a prototype.

3. Ping Anser (4 wins, 2 players)

The Ping -Oser heralded the era of the modern knife -pepper, so it is no surprise to see that variants of the shape continue to win on the PGA Tour.
Both Ryan Fox and Brian Campbell won twice this season with the help of a variant of the Anser. Fox used a counter -balanced Ping Anser 2D, a wider, plumber’s version of the original. Campbell caresses a prototype PLD ground Anser 2.
Of the four different models, Ping Putters had seven victories of five different players.

Ping Scottsdale Anser 2D Custom Putter
The Scotttsdale family combines a face insert from one piece with a large leap in forgiveness about model styles and battles to fit every golfer and increase the performance on the greens. The lightweight Pebax insert creates discretionary weight used to enlarge moi and at the same time guarantee a soft feeling, a pleasant sound and consistent bullet rates. This slightly deeper, perimeter-weighted knife design has a similar weight, size and forgiveness of a mid-mallet putter. A single contrasting alignment line and clean heel-toe ballasts make it easier to inspire a self-assured stroke in this light ARC model.

4. Scotty Cameron 009m (3 wins, 3 players)
;)
Titleist
One of the most sought after putters in Gear Heads is the Scotty Cameron 009 and 009M and it won three times on the PGA Tour in the past year.
The 009 and 009m (M stands for masterful) are only Tour versions of the classic Scotty Cameron Newport form, but with more rounded edges along the bumpers.
Joe Highsmith won the Cognizant Classic with a customized 009m that he received only a few weeks before the tournament. Aldrich Potgieter has been an old player of the 009m that he used to win at the Rocket Classic.
Hideki Matsuyama also used an adapted 009m with a configuration in the center axis.
5. Scotty Cameron Newport 2 (3 wins, 2 players)
;)
The other putter model with more than two victories this last season was the classic Scotty Cameron Newport 2 -shaped. The Newport 2 follows its roots back to the classic heel-toeen weighed knife design that sets the standard for modern putters. It was also popularized as the putter of Tiger Woods choice for 14 of his 15 large titles.
Both players who won 2 with the Newport 2 this season were non-Titleistic staff members, Ben Griffin (Zurich Classic and Charles Schwab Challenge) and Kurt Kitayama (3M open) and although their putters are different, they both use an insert.
Officially noticed as a prototype of the concept 2-tour prototype, Griffin has had his Black Newport 2 for years and has a sought after GSS (German stainless steel) insert. Kitayam’s Studio Style Newport 2 Tour Prototype Putter is based on the RetailStudio style of Newport 2 that was released earlier this year and has the new SCS (Studio Carbon Steel) insert. Kitayama was previously made of GSS in a similar Newport 2.
