With a 15-year background in design, Daryl entails a wealth of experience, and under his leadership Bandit9 has evolved into a sculptural motorcycle workshop that is re-defined what vehicles can be. Some of his earlier works bridge the gap between industrial design and visual arts, have been shown in the Petersen Automotive Museum and covered by global design platforms, including Moma.

Built on the bones of one Ducati Monster 821, stopped in 2017, this unique build is a complete reinvestion of the original Italian naked motorcycle, with each panel, surface, redesigned and handmade to fit monolithic aesthetics within a singular. The Unibody Kuip is formed by hand-made aluminum and the hood of a single seat is formed from carbon fiber. The entire silhouette gives the impression that liquid metal flows over a performance machine that was formed for cutting a wind tunnel.
