So far, Wanderers have hinted at victory, making them one of only eleven teams to have failed to win a match so far in the campaign.
Vitor Pereira has already been sacked as manager as the club desperately look for a way to turn things around. They have somehow convinced Rob Edwards to leave Middlesbrough in the middle of their promotion campaign to steer a sinking ship through the next 27 games.
The last vestiges of hope among the fanbase have been extinguished, replaced by despair and acceptance that their return to the Championship after seven years in the top flight is imminent.
But there is little chance that Wolves can pull off another big break. Only fourteen teams have collected four points or fewer in the first eleven weeks of a Premier League campaign, with some somehow managing to survive the drop.
Everton did it in the 1990s after taking just three points at this stage of the season, Crystal Palace did it twice with four points and QPR did it in 2012/2013 with four points.
That said, only two teams have collected two points or less at this point and both have been relegated.
