With the international break of September that offers some respite, it is time to look back on the buyers of penalties and set pieces in Game Week 1-3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) 2025/26.
Many of the players involved in Dead-Ball situations took away where they left in 2024/25 or in the preseason.
But there are a few new set-play pretenders to report on following the first month of action.
Based on the official OPTA data in our Member of the membershipHere is a club-by-club spit and some important collection restaurants.

Diarra on the next for Sunderland?
Sunderland’s track record of 12 Yards last season was terrible, while Eloh (£ 5.5 million) missed from the spot in the preseason.
And so the responsibility for the recalled Enzo le Fee (£ 4.9 million) When the Black Cats were fined in Gameweek 3.
As the player himself said after the game, it could be Habib Diarra (£ 5.5 million) Take the following.
“I was sure I would score. We had a discussion with Habib [Diarra]Because he wanted to take it too, but I knew for sure, so he let me shoot and I scored.
‘No, no, no [I am not the first-choice taker]. If we have another one, let me shoot Habib because he let me shoot today. ‘ – Enzo le Fee on his punishment
Milner rolls back the years
Three game week, three different Brighton and Hove Albion Penalty Takers.
James Milner (£ 5.0 million) became the newest seagull who was his arm coincidence in the victory over Manchester City, following Danny Welbeck‘s (£ 6.4 million) Miss in Gameweek 2 and Matt O’Riley‘s (£ 5.5 million) Successful conversion during the opening weekend.
O’RiLey has since been left on loan.
Welbeck was not on the field when Milner scored his punishment – and the opposite was where the striker against Everton missed.
New forward score from the place

Viktor (£ 9.0 million), Igor Thiago (£ 6.0 million) and Lukas Schoon (£ 5.0 million) were all scored from the place this season.
Bukayo from (£ 9.9 million) was absent when Gyokeres scored his Spot-Kick, but all the noise from North London had suggested that the Swede had taken control of 12 yards anyway.
Nmecha’s GameWeek 1 penalty came with the most important toning of last season, Pascal Struijk (£ 4.5 million), on the field. However, Joel Piroe (£ 5.4 million), which took one in the preseason, was replaced at that time.
Thiago is technically not a ‘new’ attacker, but that was his injury record in 2024/25 that this is our first look at him.
He supplied the place in Gameweek 1 – and that was done with Kevin Damage (£ 7.0 million) on the field.
In Gameweek 3, however, damage stepped up to take the second spot kick of the bees of 2025/26, even though Thiago was present. He missed almost inevitably.
Keith Andrews did not really clarify the situation after full -time.
Enzo Deputises, Not Pedro
When Joao Pedro (£ 7.7 million) Owners will now be all too aware, that was it Enzo Fernandez (£ 6.6 million) and not the Brazilian forward Cole Palmer (£ 10.4 million) was absent in game week 3.
Enzo had last recorded a penalty for Chelsea in 2023/24.
Still service

Bruno Fernandes (£ 9.0 million), Jean-Philippe Mateta (£ 7.5 million) and Lucas -package (£ 5.9 million) are all continued where they went in 2024/25 and this season fines for their respective clubs have taken.
Fernandes survived a game week 2 Spot-Kick Miss and was still familiar with the responsibility in Gameweek 3.
Mateta of course no longer has Rear seat (£ 7.5 million) Job sharing from 12 yards.
Defenders on dead balls
We have seen 16 defenders take set pieces this season.
Quilindschy Hartman (£ 4.0 million) and Gabriel Gudmundson (£ 4.0 million) are the joint dye; The first has been more active than the last one and took nine corners/free kicks to Gudmundson’s.
Matty Cash (£ 4.5 million) has taken more corners/free kicks (10) than any FPL defender. He is one of the three members of the backline of the Villans to do this; Lucas Digne (£ 4.5 million) and Ian Maatsen (£ 4.4 million) also had a sporadic service.
New left backs Maxim de Cuyper, David Moller Wolfe, Adrien Truffert And El Hadji Diouf (All £ 4.5 million) have all taken at least one set of piece this season.
Szoboszlai Nets Season’s First Direct Free-Kick
There were 19 direct free attempts and the first 18 were missed this season.
Finally, Dominic (£ 6.5 million) ended the drought with its 0.03 xg Howerzer against Arsenal in Gameweek 3.
Cheap all -rounders

Cheap midfielders Josh Culler (£ 5.0 million), James Garner (£ 5.0 million), Enzo le Fee (£ 4.9 million), Now Lukic (£ 5.0 million), Hannibal Mjbri (£ 5.0 million), Anton Stach (£ 5.0 million), Marcus Tavernier (£ 5.5 million) and Granit xhaka (£ 5.0 million) This season not only took the corners/crossed free kicks for their sides, but they also all collected defensive contribution points (DC).
Stach, Tavernier, Garner and Mjbri have all taken a direct free kick.
Reijnders in the set piece mix

In the last two game week, another is well in the new boy in the set piece Mix: Tijjani Reijnders (£ 5.7 million). The Dutchman took two corners in both game week 2 and 3, also in a free kick in the latter.
