The return of the lost?

The return of the lost?

The situation at Worcester Warriors is grim. Players and employees can lose their livelihood and for some prospective youth in the club this can mean the end of their dreams. The caretaker is poor from his home at home. Grim. There is no better way to describe it.

Because this situation has shifted, the rumor is completely about what will happen to the Scottish players in Worcester. This is mainly focused on Duhan and to a lesser extent, Suzz and sometimes someone remembers that Murray McCallum falls into this category.

The rumor mill initially suggested that Duhan might go to France and, among other things, proposed destinations, racing 92 were at the top of the list. For Rory Sutherland Bath, Lyon and Cardiff were quoted. I may even have seen Leinster in connection with Sutherland, but I don’t quote about that.

Unfortunately, that rumor mill is quite quiet on the McCallum front.

Of course, very soon after the news about Worcester Mike Blair was asked if there was a prospect of one of the trio that returned to Edinburgh. He was pretty Cagey in his answer as you would expect, but in the end scenario did not reign.

That was back at the end of August. From today, Worcester Warriors are now in administration and suspended from all competitions. However, it is only for the design of the club to be the legal entity of the club (WRFC Trading LTD) that is in administration and the company that pays the Players -wonen (WRC Player Ltd) is not.

This last part is currently the key and the brakes on all movement by players who have been contracted by the club. However, I understand that if wages do not appear at the end of September, the players will be free to leave after 14 days have passed.

Although this has all been developed, the speculation has that too. It has now been generally stated that Duhan van der Merwe is supposed to be agreed or a return to Edinburgh or even that it is a foregone dealer.

The reports around Sutherland seem to suggest that he ends up in Glasgow earlier.

There is no strong indication of McCallum anyway.

In the first instance, let’s concentrate on Duhan, because he is the one who gets everyone’s wrist races. If he goes back to Edinburgh, it will be on the SRU doubling. That does not mean that Mike Blair will be unhappy in having a player with his try -scoring capacity that is available to him, but it comes with complications.

  1. The SRU will dictate that he plays enough games to keep him ready for international rugby

  2. Someone loses a place in the team to allow that

  3. Leave something in the team that is dissatisfied with 1 and 2 because they or their partner have been put aside?

Of course there are many possibilities for those who might have to make way for Duhan with autumn internationals, 6N and toilets on the road, but it can still rank. However, let’s be clear. If this starts to deal with it, it is for the national side and that alone.

So assuming that Duhan will fall back in an Edinburgh XV who gets the bullet to make way for him? I think with Duhan on the left wing we look at a rear 3 of Graham, Boffelli, Duhan. So immediately, Immelman, Hoyland and (a fit) will be some of the victims.

Duhan is like the ally of Rugby McCoist. He really does only one thing, but he is doing that thing so well that it would be difficult not to record it. So regardless of the potential issues that his ability overtraps them.

Sutherland, on the other hand,, although an excellent scrummager, injuries is susceptible and not nearly as useful as Schoeman. Whether he is actually better than a venter I know will distribute the opinion, but with the aforementioned reservation that it is probably above Mike Blair’s wage quality, I am not sure if we need him.

McCallum is another boiler with fish. He is a rarity today that he can play both sides of the scrum. Especially that assets in our sofa of the bank’s sofa can be useful, but I still can’t help him spend most of his time with Super 6 Duty.

I sincerely hope that Worcester can rise again because it is heartbreaking to see what the Fallout has meant for everyone there, including the supporters. In a sense, it makes the fact that Edinburgh is owned by the SRU feeling like a good thing.
