London, on – The countdown started for the return of live harness racing The Raceway in Western Fair DistrictWith the 2025-2026 season that starts on Friday 3 October. The 125-day meeting will contain exciting racing campaign, fan-favourite promotions and a robust line-up of special events during fall and winter.
The opening evening contains a special promotion presented by Gateway Casinos London, fans welcomed back with an exciting start to the season with a food offer, gaming and racing package. To make your reservation visit www.topofthefair.com.
Racegoers will also notice various facility upgrades that have been designed to improve the experience on the track. These include:
- New stadium seats In the stands that offer an improved comfort and view.
- Return of the Homestretch Food concession on the ground floor
- New starting gate vehiclelocally designed and built in collaboration with the Western University Engineering Program.
- New stalls Built locally in the race by System Equine.
- New Water TruckAlso built locally to improve the maintenance and safety of the track.
October will be full of special events, including the 2010 -jubilee edition of Harness The Hope on Friday, October 17, to celebrate community support for two decades for consciousness and research of breast cancer.
That same week The Raceway launches its first Trifecta Tuesday promotion, held in combination with the London Classic Yearling Sale. Due to the popularity, Trifecta Tuesday will be kept twice a month this season and fans will offer more opportunities to involve and win.
Extra highlights this fall include:
- Caregiver valuation evening – in honor of the dedicated individuals behind the scenes.
- The Driver’s Holiday Challenge on Tuesday December 9to support Toys for TOTSBringing top drivers together for a night of competitive racing and giving charity.
- Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve programs – Festive Race Events to end the year.
