The family of a mother who was shot in her house 20 years ago has argued for everyone with information to come forward.
Lucy Hargreaves, 22, slept on the couch when three men erupted her house in Walton, Liverpool on 3 August 2005, was deadly injured.
The murderers then set fire to the house on Lambourne Road, where her partner and two -year -old daughter were upstairs, and they had to escape through a window.
Two decades later, her family brought an earlier non-hardened photo of the mother of three, taken at the university.
They said: ‘In the last 20 years, people with family and friends have spoken. A number of people were contacted by men with the help of a telephone stolen, together with a vehicle used in Lucy’s murder.

‘The people who have received those calls, together with others, can have information that can be crucial to reach justice for Lucy, her parents, sister, children and all her extensive family and friends. We do them directly to come forward. This is the moment. ‘

The police arrested 21 people as part of their investigation, but nobody has been convicted.
An extensive assessment of her murder was launched two years ago by the police of Merseyside and continues.
Howard Rubbery, head of the Serious Case Review Unit, said: ‘It is now 20 years ago that Lucy was removed from her family in the most brutal conditions.
‘After they had pronounced the murder, the perpetrators ignored the cries of a toddler above while they poured gasoline around the house and put a fire in it. Their callous and reckless actions could have claimed that night of two more people if they had not escaped the flames by jumping out of a window upstairs.
“As with every unsolved murder, the time is not an obstacle to our pursuit of justice for Lucy and we call on someone with some information, no matter how small it seems, to contact us.”
Mrs. Hargreaves’ family, who said they “miss her every day,” welcomed a focus on tackling violence against women and girls in recent years.

They praised the families of other victims of arms crime, including the mothers of the nine -year -old Olivia Pratt Korbel and Ashley Dale, 28, who were shot in their homes in separate incidents in Liverpool in August 2022.
The family said: ‘We admire the determination and guts of the families of those who were killed more recently as a result of a weapon crime here in Merseyside.
“The mothers of both Ashley Dale and Olivia Pratt Korbbel have led a real and powerful community challenge for men of violence.”
Detectives continue to appeal to anyone with information about a Golden Lexus car, which is assumed to have been dumped shortly after the shooting at Richard Kelly Drive, Clubmoor, by various men who then ran in the direction of Normandal Road.
The police said earlier that they wanted to talk to Kevin Thomas Parle in connection with the murder of Mrs. Hargreaves.

Parle, who was supposed to live abroad, was also sought in connection with the murder of Liam Kelly, 16, who was shot in the early hours of 19 June 2004, in Dingle, Liverpool.
Anyone with information must contact the Merseyside police.
