Vision bonds
Earlier this year in February, Kim’s management revealed that she would take off until March 7, while recovering from an eye surgery.
But in a further update in March, her management announced that she would still be out of operation in the coming weeks.
She had been open for a long time about problems she suffered with her vision on, and admitted in an interview with The mirror In 2016 she was ‘virtually blind’ in her right eye.
She said: ‘I was born without sight in one eye and the limited vision in the other, but to be honest, I didn’t really know I had a problem for a long time.
‘I left the house when I was 17 and when I was 19, I got a job in a factory and I had to own my bad vision.
‘My job was to compile Meccano toy by using an exercise and putting small wheels on it – I was constantly cuting my fingers while I worked.
‘It was then that I had tested and discovered my sight that I was almost blind in my right eye and was short -sighted in my left. I don’t know anything else, I couldn’t compare my vision with others, so I just continued using glasses when I had to.
‘Now and then, when I’m very tired, my eye wanders from left to right, so I look cockey, but that doesn’t happen often.
She added: ‘I never learned how to ride, partly because my eyes were so dodgy. I had many lessons, but in the end I gave up.
‘Of course, like everyone else, I go for regular checks.
‘A few years ago I developed a cataract in the poor eye, but specialists said it is not worth switching off. They also said that it was not worth working on my good eye in case it made things worse.
‘I now count my blessings that I had these vision problems from birth because you don’t miss what you have never had before. But you are nothing without your health. ‘

Kim was last publicly seen at the funeral of Rupaul’s Drag Race star The Vivienne in Denbighshire, Wales, on January 27 next to her husband Peter

Neck surgery
In 2022 there were again worries about Kim’s Health, after the then-80-year-old had shared a photo from a hospital bed, with a brittle, with a nose cannula and a bed pan on her head.
But with GB News hours later from her house in Cheshire, Kim said she would be operated on, for which doctors were needed to have her throat cut.
She told the program: ‘I had a very bad disk in my neck and it had an influence on my hands, so I couldn’t use them.
‘So I went to the hospital on Wednesday and the doctor cut my throat with a big cut in my neck, he pulled out the disc in this hole in my neck and put a titanium disc in it. I don’t know how he did it.
‘They sent me home and I am just as fit as a violin.
‘I have about four or five weeks to rest, but I have this big murderous. Mind you, it doesn’t stop me to talk. ‘
Front cervical discectomy and merger (ACDF) Surgery is a procedure that relieves pain caused by trapped nerves in the neck.
According to the NHS, surgery is done by the front of the neck to gain access to the disk that causes pressure on the verve, usually on the right where doctors cut a small muscle.
Once the disc has been removed, it is replaced by a metal or synthetic implant to keep the vertebrae together.

Underactive thyroid
In the same interview with The Mirror in 2016, Kim also revealed that they suffered an underactive thyroid gland.
She said: ‘Some things are running in our family, and an underactive thyroid gland is one of them. I was diagnosed 20 years ago. I noticed that I got very tired and hot.
‘I would walk around in the winter without a jacket on because I had the feeling that I was burning.
“Since then I have been using medicines and, touching wood, everything is fine.”
At least one in 20 people in the UK has a thyroid disorder, a butterfly -shaped gland that is just before the voicebox.
The thyroid gland produces two important hormones – Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4) – that help regulate important body functions, including heart rate, temperature and mood.
Hypothyroidism or an underactive thyroud, where the gland produces too few hormones, can lead to weight gain, fatigue, feeling cold, constipation and dry skin and hair.
Women are ten times more likely to be hit than men, although it is not clear why.
The most common trigger for both thyroid problems is an autoimmune condition, whereby the body wrongly attacks the thyroid tissues.
An underactive thyroid gland is also linked to various health problems, including heart conditions and diabetes.
