The on-demand library begins renovation

The on-demand library begins renovation

Our On-Demand Professional Development library is perfect for teachers who want to learn on their own time. We’ve expanded our library to reflect a variety of personal finance topics, but like any good library, sometimes it needs a little renovation to stay fresh, focused, and relevant.

After reviewing teacher feedback and analyzing completion data, we have decommissioned 8 modules that are either no longer relevant or simply no longer resonate with our audience.

As of October 2025, the following modules have been removed from our On-Demand PD library:

  • 3 lesser known cards
  • Basics of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)
  • Budgeting in the gig economy
  • I-bonds: too good to be true?
  • Inflation: will it stay or will it go away?
  • Second-hand smart
  • The interest we pay
  • The psychology of the gameStop Frenzy

What does this mean for you?

If you have previously completed any of these modules, your completion certificate will still appear in your My NGPF Academy.

What’s next?

It’s just the beginning! The PD team is currently reviewing and updating modules. We will also create new modules that tie in with current financial topics. Stay tuned for an announcement later this fall!

And speaking of fall…
