The legendary animals from the second generation of Pokemon games roar in the digital card game Pokemon TCG Pocket when the next mini-expansion, remote springs, is released on 28 August.
The smaller subset of digital maps complements the recent wisdom of sea and air expansion, which focused on the rare Pokemon Ho-Oh and Lugia. (Older fans may remember the Box Art of Pokemon Gold and Silver, all the way back in 1999.) Although the official list of digital maps in the set is not yet available, it is probably smaller than its gigantic 241 card predecessor. Expect a little more related to earlier mini-sets such as extradimensional crisis or eevee grove.

The most valuable cards that fans can expect to pursue are Pokemon ex-versions of the legendary dogs Entei, Suicune and Raikou, while legendaries of the third generation Latios and Latias also appear. Baby Pokemon such as Mantyke also appears, which match the theme of the mini expansion, although this Pokemon was introduced in later games than Pokemon Gold and Silver.
As always, Pokemon TCG Pocket developer Dena works together with excellent artists to bring fun new monster art into the game. In this set we are treated to a hot springs paradise – these are perhaps the most beautiful pieces of card art since the mythical island set has been released.
Can you really look at Phanpy, playfully squirting water in the hot sources and tell me that that is not the most cute that you have ever seen?
The quiet Johto way of life ensures excellent map art
Generation 2 Pokemon Games (Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal) are placed on a pedestal by many experienced fans of the series, and for a good reason. Although the games have a punishing and uneven leveling curve, they added a new region while retaining a post game that takes place in the Kanto region, the original Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow’s setting. New functions added to the second generation of games, such as shiny pokemon and egg -coming out, added more depth and insertion.
But above all, the silent mysticism of the Johto area introduced in Generation 2 separate gold, silver and crystal from their predecessors. While the hustle and bustle of Kanto was an indication of an increasingly industrialized Pokemon world, the natural-loving population who lived throughout Johto was deeply spiritual to tradition and worshiped cultural sites that were important for people and Pokemon.

The art of the new Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion looks as if it records much of the poor scenes of life that have been irreversibly connected to Generation 2 in my mind, and that is really special.
A watercolor that is slow, kicks his feet by the current while the water drips past. A lava -based Slugma tail to steaming hot water and consider whether it should take a dip. People stare at the old wall painting of a milotic, awe of his beauty. These are the cards that make me feel a deeper connection with the Pokemon world – they are just as refreshing as starting Pokemon Go on day 1 and seeing the pocket samples in real life.
Tickets of life are just logical for Johto, and I hope that we will see more of them (especially in brilliant full art variants) in future sets.
Water type Pokemon Like Milotic will be shown in a handful of the Pokemon TCG-Pocket events that are planned for September.
Let events fall, miracles challenges and more free rewards planned for September
If you like your water type Pokemon, you are lucky: there are a lot of remote sources after the launch that help you add these aquatic pocket samples to your deck.
A special Suicune theme Cover and Display Board background will be added to Pokemon TCG Pocket on 31 August. In September, a mass outbreak event of the Watertype Waterpokemon will spread over bonus wonders.
Other September events include a drop event where you can take on special solo fights to earn a Zoroark promocard, a Wonder Pick Event theme on Special Siltank and Phanpy Promo cards and a week with challenges to earn extra pack -sander and other rewards.
Dena also promised that players can trade in their Stardust for new card flair throughout the month, but there are no additional details about which cool new visual effects will be released.
