Spurs star Lucas Bergvall has been forced to withdraw from the Sweden squad due to concussion problems, with Graham Potter subsequently giving a late call to Emil Krafth.
The Newcastle United defender is expected to arrive in Geneva today before Sweden face Switzerland on Saturday.
Emil Krafth joins Anthony Elanga and the rest of his international teammates.
This decision by Graham Potter caused some confusion, with the Newcastle and Spurs players mostly playing in very different roles.
However, Graham Potter and the Swedish camp have now cleared up that confusion.
The explanation is that Potter feels he has plenty of other options in midfield despite Bergvall’s withdrawal.
However, Newcastle United’s Emil Krafth is given a late call-up due to concerns over the fitness of Leeds United defender Gabriel Gudmundsson, allowing the Leeds player to play at either full-back position.
