This weekend, Playoff will see in the Tulip main class. As always, on the eve of the start of the competition, we look at the player lists published by the KNHB. After all, there are always some remarkable names showing up. So we see that the top scorer of the Tulip main class Jeroen Hertzberger is always on the list with Rotterdam and that Amsterdam can call Mirco Pruyser.
The chances that former internationals Hertzberger and Pruyser are in action are slim. Clubs are allowed on the list a total of twenty -two names. But they are not the only former Orange internationals who have been registered. Traditionally Bloemendaal’s Wouter Jolie is on the list. In addition, Ginella Zerbo and Laurien Leurink are among the names of Hurley, just like last season.
AltheHeHoHem Blok, Elke Boers, Lisa Scheerlinck and Kenny Bain Quit Top Field Hockey Last Season, They Are Still List Amsterdam, Den Bosch, Oranje-Red and Laren, Respectively. Boers’ Switch to Den Bosch is striking. She Played for HGC last season. On the other hand, the ‘transfer’ is not remarkable either. Boers is married to Thierry Brinkman, who plays for Den Bosch. We also see other veterans Such as Charlotte Adegeest (Amsterdam), Matthijs Odekerken (Bloemendaal), Dirkie Chamberlain and Pien van Nes (Both HDM) and Niek van der Schoot (Oranje-Red).
In Kampong we come across Twins Kjell and Hiddle Plantega, both 21 years old, while at Oranje-Rood, the 18-year-old twins Boaz and Isha Houben are on the list.

At Hurley these are Maartje Kaptein, Sophie Schelfhout, Fiona Morgenstern and Chrisje van der Salm. The Quartet Nicolas Keenan, Aki Käppeler, Douwe Steens and Koene Schaper share the responsibility at KZ. With the SCHC ladies we see a new captain. So not Xan de Ward, but Renée van Laarhoven will wear the belt this season.
Looking at age, Reese d’Ariano van Amsterdam is the youngest player in the Tulip big league ladies with her 16 years. The 38-year-old South African Dirkie Chamberlain (HDM) is the oldest. As a team, Tilburg has the youngest selection (on average 21.8 years), while national champion Den Bosch has the oldest group of players (24.3 years).
