In April it was announced that the Olympic basketball team of the American gentlemen of 2008, also known as ‘The Redeem Team’, would be included in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Two valued Utah Jazz -Alumni, Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer, were part of that team and have to be initiated tonight, which shows that the Jazz clearly built up at that time.

Although Williams and Boozer will probably not make the Hall of Fame based on their individual performance, this is glory that they certainly deserved because they played a role in Team USA exchanged themselves after a humiliating loss at the Olympic Games four years earlier.
The two were not selected by the US alone because they were stars, but also because of how well they played together when they played for jazz. They may not be one of the best duos in the NBA, but They were quite close.

Those jazz teams with Williams and Boozer were really good. They are responsible for the only Western Conference Finals -appearance of jazz without Karl Malone or John Stockton in franchise history. They will probably be forgotten by the NBA public because they have never reached the highest level of the NBA, but they remember jazz fans, and for a good reason.
Boozer was the most controversial free agent addiction that the Jazz has ever had, and he gave them their money from 2004 to 2010. Williams was a valued lottery that developed into one of the best point guards of the NBA when he was at the top of his game in Utah. For those reasons they are one of the most memorable jazzs ever.
And it is clear how much they remember Utah, because Boozer now works for Jazz and Williams still has a house in Utah all those years later.
Their basketball contributions will in any case be immersed
Williams and Boozer may not get the honor to make the basketball Hall of Fame as players, but they were at least a part of something that will always be remembered by basketball fans. Williams was the team’s back -point guard, while Boozer was the last big man on their depth card, but that still counts for a lot.
They helped bring the gold medal back to the US at a time when the country had something to prove. Fans can laugh at the fact that Team USA is usually full of the very best players of the NBA compared to their competition, but the Olympic Games are another beast. It is really special to see them win and win on spectacular fashion.
Even if this does not immediately mean the jazz, it shows that they have built a winner in the right way with those two who were the lead.
