Then it was Friday again! This week a lot and little has happened on our front: we are at home while working on various projects.
A recurring photo subject
“Aren’t you going to take pictures of the castle again?” Peter asks, laughing and then Doing I that. Wondering how many photos I actually have of Karlberg Castle? Many probably… But the castle is beautiful and we often pass it during our walks, on one side or the other of the Karlberg Canal. At the moment the castle is surrounded by snow…
Projects that require time and energy
We currently have several projects underway that will take time a lot of of time and energy. These are really fun projects, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. On the contrary! Sometimes we pull our hair out a little… There are a lot of meetings, a lot of discussions and a lot of emails. Sometimes we get tired and fall asleep in the middle of the day. Other times the ideas and energy soar. Just a little up and down…!
Nice response to the message ‘travel ahead’
By the way, it was very nice that our report on “15 things you did during the trip before the mobile took over” was received so positively. A lot of full of commentary and personal stories about what it was like to travel in the ancient world – I promise it was fun, entertaining and at times nostalgic to read. Thanks for your efforts!
Favorite dishes and good TV series
When we take time off from work, it’s cooking and TV series. Some favorite dishes this week: Beef Rydberg and meatballs in tomato sauce. So Good! Sometimes Peter also made homemade fried chips on various root vegetables. Yum!

TV series…? We’re now subscribed to Apple TV and we’ve seen a whole bunch of shows we like: Slow horses (British spy drama with dark humor), Pachinko (fantastic South Korean family epic), Tehran (spy thriller with Mossad in the heart of Iran) and Hijack (American entertaining hijacking drama). Right now we are looking Great goal – a good thriller about mathematical geniuses.

This week: Thankful for…
This week we are grateful that we have taken a few steps forward with the projects we are working on. We are also grateful that Peter’s check-up at the ophthalmologist showed no deterioration. Peter’s heart-shaped root vegetables may symbolize the positive…!
Your turn… What are you grateful for this week?

Next week
We are still at home in our houseboat during the week and have nothing booked except work, meetings and possibly some fun with friends.
Here at FREEDOMtravel you can expect, among other things, a continuation of Anna’s report on Mali (you read part 1, which starts in the capital Bamako?) mixed with some other things… For now we wish you a happy Friday and weekend!
