The fastest way to accumulate the greatest amount of wealth

There are four ways to build wealth:

  1. The path of saver-investor
  2. Climbing path of the big company
  3. Virtuoso path and
  4. Dreamer-entrepreneur path

According to the vast amount of data I’ve collected since 2004, the fastest way to accumulate the greatest amount of wealth is without a doubt the dreamer-entrepreneur path.

In my Rich Habits Study, Dreamer Entrepreneurs collected an average of $7.4 million over an average of just twelve years.

Compared to all other three paths, that was more than twice the amount of wealth in a much shorter time.

While this may be the fastest and most financially rewarding path to accumulating wealth, it is also the most difficult, risky, and stressful path to wealth.

There are many costs associated with being a dreamer entrepreneur:

  • Long working hours – The dreamer/entrepreneurs in my study worked an average of 61 hours per week for twelve years. Weekends and holidays were virtually non-existent. Those long working hours had consequences for everyone in the immediate vicinity of the Dreamer. Family and friends are hit hardest by their absence. Often one spouse has to take the lead and raise their children, almost as if they were a single parent. Close friendships everywhere, because of those long working hours.
  • Financial Stress – Until the dream begins to bear fruit, making ends meet can cause almost unbearable stress. Only the strong can survive that stress, and that includes husbands. In the beginning, it is virtually impossible to get a steady salary. Weak marriages will almost certainly fall apart as a result of this stress.
  • High Risk – Dreamers must risk everything they own. Their homes, retirement plans and savings become the assets that bring their dream to life. When a dreamer runs out of assets, he has no choice but to take on debt to continue financing his dream. The lucky ones can eventually secure lines of credit to keep them afloat. The unfortunate are forced to rely on credit cards or loans from family and friends to survive until they can thrive. When they flourish. Pursuing a dream is a gamble. There is absolutely no guarantee that the Dream will pay off. Many fail. In fact, 27% of my Rich Habits Study failed at least once. Failure could mean bankruptcy. Sometimes that bankruptcy is followed by a divorce.

But if you have what it takes, the Entrepreneurial Path will generate the most wealth in the shortest time possible.

So, is the entrepreneurial path right for you?

Everyone is different and because everyone is different, their path to accumulating wealth should align with their specific personality.

For example, shy, risk-averse, and low stress-tolerant individuals would not find the life of a dreamer-entrepreneur suitable for their specific personality.

However, extroverted individuals who enjoy high-risk challenges and seem immune to stress are perfectly suited to the path of the dreamer/entrepreneur. If that’s you, then the Entrepreneurial Path is the right path for you.
