The days, the days…

The days, the days…

In the last post I said there would be no traditional flashback. At the same time, it is a bit nice to look back at what you did during Christmas, when the psyche was still stable.

In other words, these photos are from the past
day 100 with the family..

Come with us to Arild, Öland and Höllviken!

The holiday started in Arild, one of our absolute favorite places.
Here we rent the same accommodation to which we always return..

Christmas would be a mostly gray day, but it was exactly what I was longing for. As long as there are excursion destinations to go to and long walks to take, I’m more than happy..

Arild wasn’t just shades of gray. The hydrangeas that cover large parts of the gardens were still in bloom despite the December weather.

One of my favorite houses, I love the green details..

Old man Rustya perfect place for a Scanian wedding party, with a large roof terrace and incredible views over the entire sea. At the top right you see grandma’s house, unfortunately rented out and very much missed…

Suddenly we were on Öland!

There is not only a huge renovation taking place in our lives. My friend’s sister is also building a house here, designed by one of my best friends, Desiré.

You will find her here..

As usual we had to visit the wonderful Amanda and Petter People interior. Nike has found a camera…

And I have an armchair, unfortunately it had already been sold…

From our side it was instead a stool and a huge sheepskin for the sofa upstairs, once it is finished.

Little Manila, wall to wall with people. Well worth a visit when everyone’s blood sugar levels are dropping.

Yeah, I don’t care…

One of my favorites from the Christmas presents: bulbs of daffodils and snowdrops from my dear mother-in-law. When I looked more closely at where they came from, it turned out to be a store in Ingelsträde, next to Arild, which I was previously unaware of. Larsvikenanother excursion to add to the list.

When I got home, I lit another favorite Christmas gift: my fragrant incense papers, which spread an incredible scent throughout the room in just a few minutes.

This is what the packaging looks like, and here you find the incense itself..

The stool took its place in the kitchen, and the candle,
what little we got flowed in through the windows…

The hyacinths went out and the tazettes came in, finally!

Snacks have been bought for New Year’s Eve..

And the table decoration slowly took shape…

We ended up at my brother’s house, dressed in overpriced clothes from my sister-in-law’s enormous wardrobe. In any case, the joy could not be missed…

Thanks for the nice days little family, we fought well!
