The club in Eaglebroke, a semi-private facility in Lakeland, FLA., Will celebrate the reopening of its 18-hole golf course with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday 1 October. The course is closed to play since April and undergoes a more than $ 1 million, multi -phases renovation. During the six-month renovation project, Bartow crews, the Florida-based Mondragon Golf, rebuilt 20 Greens to their original size/shape and appeared again with Tifeagle Bermuda grass, while collars around the green were displayed with Tifgrand Bermuda grass. The two bridges on hole 13 were rebuilt and the big shot at Gat 17 was also reconstructed. Crews also reformed selected bunkers and improved landscape architecture during the course.
The project also included a complete redesign of the short game practice of the club. Improvements include a brand new 8,000 square feet practice Green, a new bunker, new irrigation and new drainage.
“We are incredibly proud to welcome our members and the community to Eaglebrooke for this exciting new chapter,” said Ryan Roberts, general manager of the club in Eaglebrooke. “This renovation not only recovered our greens and infrastructure, but increased the general playing experience. Our investment ensures that Eaglebrooke will remain one of the most important golf destinations of Central Florida for the coming years.”
The club on the golf course of Eaglebrooke was originally designed by architect Ron Garl and was opened for playing in 1996. The 2025 renovation marked the first substantial changes in the Greens of Eaglebrooke since the course opened for the game. The 6,917-Yard, left-like course has natural lakes, abundant wild animals and has 100 feet of height change, which is unique in this part of Florida. In addition to Golf, the Eaglebrooke club offers a full-service restaurant and pastry facilities that are suitable for a maximum of 200 guests.
