The board of Authum Investment approves the 4:1 bonus issue

The board of Authum Investment & Infrastructure on Friday approved a 4:1 bonus issue under which the NBFC will issue four new fully paid shares for every existing fully paid equity share to the eligible shareholders on the record date.The issuance will be subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, the company said in its filing with the stock exchanges, adding that it will announce the record date separately.

At a meeting held today, the company’s board of directors approved an increase in the company’s registered capital from Rs 100 crore to Rs 128 crore.Authum deploys funds across the capital structure in equity, debt and structured products. It operates in two vertical sectors: the investment sector and the credit sector.

The company engages in long-term equity investments in both listed and unlisted sectors, with a significant portion of the portfolio invested in more than 10 listed entities. The typical holding period averages between 3 and 5 years and the total value of the company’s investments was approximately Rs 12,641 crore as on March 31, 2025.


Meanwhile, the lending business offers a wide range of credit and financing solutions, with an emphasis on asset-backed loans. As of March 31, 2025, the loan assets were worth over Rs 2,150 crore. The stock has had a great run on D-Street over the past 12 months, despite market declines, delivering a one-year return of 70%, according to Trendlyne data. The company’s consolidated net profit in the September quarter stood at Rs 767 crore, down 9% from Rs 843 crore in the same period last year. Total revenue in the quarter under review stood at Rs 609 crore, down 46% from Rs 1,117 core in Q2FY25.
