Mount the best possible team of the Vikings with players who were employed by Minnesota since 2000. That is the task.
Good chance that you have seen one or two of these lists since 2025 offers a pretty satisfying moment to perform the exercise. On AthleticsFor example, there is a consideration of the Top 25 University Football Programs since 2000. Other publications certainly offer similar exercises.
In the past 25 years, the Vikings have been comparable to various sports teams as far as they have had some high-end talent, players who have solved themselves as both franchise-groots and, indeed, big ones for the sport wider. What happens if we deliberately try to eliminate the best possible players for a real super team?
Consider answering that question before you start answering.
Only attack and defense are considered (sorry, Marcus Sherels and Cordarstel Patterson; they would have been the returners. Wait, what about Percy Harvin?). The players are also chosen Wearing purple. Greg Jennings does not get a boost because of playing strong football in Green Bay; Stephon Gilmore also does not see his defensive player of the year price as a patriot factor in the mix.
A leading filter: any other NFL team may do the same exercise and then compete for the Super Bowl in 2025; How can I best position the Vikings to win everything?
With all that said, go ahead and see the team that is composed.
The best possible team of the Vikings from 2000-2025
Infringement

LT: Bryant McKinnie | LG: Steve Hutchinson | C: Matt Birk | RG: Joe Berger | RT: Brian O’Neill |
QB: Brett Favre | ||||
RB: Adrian Peterson | ||||
WR: Justin Jefferson | Te: Jim Lininsasser | WR: Stefon Diggs | WR: Randy Moss |
Commentary: First, the striking issue: who is going to pass the ball? No Kirk Cousins.
The debate really comes down to the brilliant ’09 season of Brett Favre versus Daunte Culpepper, someone who has put together a number of beautiful seasons for the Vikings (while the advantage of having played longer for Minnesota). I will give the lead to Favre, simply because he got the Vikings So Close to reaching the super bowl.
The skill is unparalleled. Try to delay all Jefferson, Diggs and Moss – who were all Vikings -Picks – feels like an impossible question. Making even worse is that Adrian Peterson would run over a defensive front that only has six or seven players.

Some debate could certainly have a tight end. All Jim Kleinsasser, Kyle Rudolph and TJ Hockenson have a claim in the lonely place. However, I will roll with small axle, however, if someone who was quite versatile and extremely robust, a huge addition to the schedule that seeks skill.
Finally, the attacking line looks very good, but not as formidable as the other places. The weak spot is probably on the right guard where Berger enters (should it have been Anthony Herrera? Brandon Fusco? Ezra Cleveland?). Christian Darrisaw has a claim that he is the most talented Lineman who has had Minnesota since 2000, but he has even more to prove before he was the place of Mr. McKinnie takes over. Is Brian O’Neill the Tackle of the team since 2000?
Defense

De: Jared Allen | DT: Kevin Williams | DT: Pat Williams | From: Danielle Hunter
LB: Eric Kendricks | LB: Chad Greenway
CB: Xavier Rhodes | S: Harrison Smith | S: Anthony Harris | CB: Byron Murphy Jr. | CB: Antoine Winfield Sr. |
Commentary: Admittedly, Andrew van Ginkel was tempting. After all, he is a huge defender and really one of the nicest players to watch in the NFL, because he can do so well. But hard to get someone from that front four.
All all, Williams X2 and Hunter have earned more than their places. Linval Joseph and Everson Griffen were considered.

At Linebacker, Eric Kendricks was an easy phone call. He made the game look so effortless when he was in his prime, a certain sign that he made a huge attempt to perfect his profession. Indeed, his athletic gifts had to collaborate with high -level intelligence in addition to a lot of work by sharpening films, which means he plays in abundance.
Throwing greenway next to Kendricks is a strong tandem, one that is able to operate within a modern NFL that requires Linebackers to be more than just Down-Hill Thumpers.
At the back, Harrison Smith was a very easy phone call. Without exaggeration, the Hitman is one of the largest Vikings -picks in franchise history. Surrounding him with an excellent version of Rhodes and Winfield is quite impressive. Many recipients would be intimidated (a reasonable way to feel).
The secondary, however, still has a few open slots and filling them was not that easy. The other safety stain is given to Anthony Harris, someone who offered Minnesota excellent football, even if it was only for a short time.
Finally the move for Mr. Murphy. He is a versatile man, someone who is able to offer strong play, even if he is not in the same way as the others.
