Paddack has made two other starts since he was traded on the Tigers, who on 30 July only gives one point in six innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks and allows one point in 5 2/3 innings against the Chicago White Sox on 11 August.

Dobnak, 30, has made three starts with Triple-A Toledo and an ERA of 2.84 with 16 strikeouts and five free runs in 12 2/3 innings. With schedules that expand to 28 players in September, the Tigers can use Dobnak as added bullen depth or to give the start rotation rest.
In the meantime, Jimenez, 19, is in a tear with low-a fort Myers, and cuts .265/.468/.529 with three home runs in 47 record performances.
