Thailand and Cambodia reached a ceasefire -the Fire Deal “by Trade”, President Donald Trump announced on Monday, ending a fast -growing conflict that 260,000 people dismantled.
Trump’s explanation comes after he said during the weekend that he had spoken with the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand, in which he had recommended a ceasefire -adding the US would not go back to the “trade table” with the Southeast Asian countries until fighting stops.
The fighting started on Thursday after an explosion of the land mine along the border, five Thai soldiers injured. Both parties blamed each other for starting the collisions that at least 35 people killed and moved more than 260,000 people on both sides.
“Numerous people were killed and I had to deal with two countries that we can get along with very good, very different countries than certain views. They fight intervals for 500 years. And we resolved that war … We solved it by trade,” Trump said during his trip to Scotland reporters.

“I said,” I don’t want to act with someone who kills each other. ” So we just solved.
“By ending this war, we saved thousands of lives. I instructed my trade team to restart the negotiations on trade. I have now ended many wars in just six months – I am proud to be the president of Peace!” Trump added in a message about Truth Social.
As part of the Stakes -Toertal, military commanders from both parties will start on Tuesday to make tensions harmless, while according to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Cambodia will organize a border committee on 4 August.

He added that the Ministers of Foreign and Defense of Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand have also been instructed to “develop a detailed mechanism” to implement and check the stuffing and checking to ensure persistent peace.

It is “time to start rebuilding trust, trust and cooperation between Thailand and Cambodia,” said Cambodian Prime Minister their Manet during a press conference in Malaysia next to the Thai acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechahayachaha.
