Veteran wing Terance Mann had spent his entire career at De La Clippers before he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks during last season’s trade deadline. Mann was excited to be traded for the first time. Now he has been traded again, this time at the Brooklyn Nets. Mann is happy to be back on the east coast and closer to his house in Lowell, Massachusetts.
“It didn’t come as a surprise for me,” Mann said he was being traded on the nets. “It is going to be crazy to play in such an environment, something new. I am one of the oldest boys in the team, wants to be a leader, who show guys what is needed to win. I have been a ton with those guys (this summer) and they are super hungry, willing to learn basketball. Seasons.”
Mann said he had enjoyed his time in LA, but it was time for change.
“I was super excited to be traded the first time, I felt that my time was up in LA and it was time for me to leave there,” Man said. “I did six seasons there as a pick in the second round and many boys are not allowed to do that, so I felt really excited to be traded to the east coast and to an organization like Atlanta. The coaching staff was great and we had a good time.”
