Victorian teachers consider mass meetings that focus on the prime minister, education minister and treasurer in response to what they say is mass under -financing of public schools.
Earlier this month, nine newspapers claimed that the government had torn $ 2.4 billion from school budgets by postponing its commitment to the reforms of the Gonski education by three years.
The age reported that the savings were signed by the prime minister.
Jacinta Allan denied that her government had withdrawn from her Gonski financing commitment.
The Australian Education Union Victorian Branch has written to all teachers of the Staatsschool who outline plans to escalate their campaign for better financing, including asking parents to participate in mass e -mails to MS Allan and Minister of Education Ben Carroll, as well as public rallies.
Branch -President Justin Mullaly said those meetings would be outside of school hours and focus on the offices of Mrs. Allan and Mr. Carroll, as well as treasurer Jaclyn Symes.
“The government has been ambiguous,” said Mullaly.
“On the one hand, they say that they are promoting the educational state and that they will fully finance public schools, but they are not going to deliver the money at all.”

Mr. Mullaly said that the meetings would also focus on other senior members of parliament, but no dates were set for the promotion.
“We don’t do this lightly; we are not doing such activities with a drop of hat at the moment,” he said.
“This is a response to a complete failure of the state government to deliver the financing that the students need in our schools and to offer the resources that support teachers, clients and educational staff.”
The government said that Victoria signed an agreement with the federal government in January, which would guarantee 100 percent of the Schooling Resource Standard (SRS) for Victorian government schools by 2034.
“Our priority is and has always been-that every child, regardless of where they live, has free access to a world-class training in a Victorian government school, supported by full and honest financing,” said Mr Carroll.
He said that the state government would provide 75 percent of the SRS, which would see more financing in phases during the term of the agreement.
“The Victorian government is currently completing these discussions with the Commonwealth,” said Mr. Carroll.
“I will not negotiate with the Commonwealth via the media.”
