Taylormade has unveiled its latest line in the milled gravel base family, milled gravel 5 (MG5). The MG5 line has countless proven Taylormade technologies and various new updates that are designed to improve the feeling, spider, versatility and overall performance.

There is feeling. Then there is a falsified feeling
The Taylormade R&D team has spent countless hours with the best players in the world, has learned that a wedge can never feel soft enough in their hands.
That is why MG5wiggen is completely forged from soft carbon steel for the first time. The forging process not only enables golfers to experience a soft feeling around the green where they need it most, it ensures consistency in the wedge from top to bottom.
The process starts with a soft carbon steel ticket that is heated and bent in an L-shape. The piece then runs through a rough forging process where excess material is cut away and the wedge starts to shape.
Then comes precision forging where the cosmetics and the routine begin to form. From there, the grinding, face, grooves and the hosel are processed to guarantee the consistency and that every wedge comes out exactly as it is designed.
The last steps include a whole series of cosmetic details to complete the end product.
In comparison with MG4, MG5 has a refined curvature of the leading edge and an updated top mix for a more symmetrical general profile.

Saw-milde grooves
MG5-Wiggen are the first in the MG family that employs aggressive saw-made grooves. With the sawing process, the designers of Taylormade can get even closer to the legal limits of Groove Geometry.
Again motivated with ultra-light tolerances, steeper walls and sharper rays, help these grooves to produce MG5 more spider than previous MG generations.
Spinretence in wet conditions
Just like MG generations earlier, MG5-Wiggen use a raw facial finish and completely new continuous spin running technology to help keep golfers spin and control in wet conditions.
The continuous spin runways work like ties with all weather conditions on a road while reducing water from the face and increasing the friction in the event of impact.
With spin running technology that cooperates with the saw-made grooves, MG5 retains 13% more spin than MG4 in wet conditions. These technologies also retain a more consistent launch corner between wet and dry conditions.
More gravel options for more golfers
MG5-Wiggen have six different Tour inspired by Tour made by Taylormade Master Wedge Craftsman Greg Cesario to give golfers a wide range of options to match their game.
Three of those times fit in with the standard bounce profile of Taylormade where most golfers are attracted to: the SB, SC and SX Malen.
SB -MALING
The SB slur has a complete sole design with constant rear edge lighting for flexible and consistent peat interaction that is compatible with most swinging types.
The soft four -way camber of this gravel ensures increased versatility for golfers who like to manipulate the face.
Moreover, the increased only width offers extra layer forgiveness, especially for golfers with steeper fluctuations. Most golfers will find this wedge favorable in almost all peat conditions.
SC -Sleur
The SC-Grind is the characteristic mid-bounce grinding of Taylormade and is quickly preferred among professionals in the staff club.
The Medium-Lage Bounce design with added camber in the middle of the sole also has a clear heel, toe and disadvantage relief.

Hb -Maling
The HB slur is made for golfers with steeper swings or who play in soft conditions. The design of high bouncers offers stability and forgiveness.

Lb mill
