Tarleton State Coach Billy Gillispie has been released from an evaluation of employee guidance by the Texas A&M System and will be restored immediately, the program announced on Monday. Gillispie enters his sixth season as a coach of Tarleton State. The former Utep, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Texas Tech Coach owns a record of 226-182 as a division I coach and has gone 78-74 since he took over the Tarleton State program in 2020.
