Sustainability is central to the Nitto ATP Finals fan village

Another Nitto ATP Final, another greater focus on sustainability in Turin.

Visitors who head to the fan village during the 2025 edition of the prestigious season finale will have the opportunity to play a series of interactive games. The activations not only offer fans the chance to win prizes, but also aim to engage participants in the topic of sustainability.

Among those enjoying the activities at the Nitto booth on Tuesday were Robert Zielinski of Poland and his daughter Berta. They were in Turin to watch Carlos Alcaraz take on Taylor Fritz in the round-robin stage, while Berta said her favorite player was Polish WTA star Iga Swiatek.

“It’s nice to see a major event like this recognize the impact it can have in bringing sustainability to the attention of people,” Zielinski told ATPTour.com. “We enjoyed playing the games.”

Fans must participate in two different activations to claim a prize from the Gacha (gumball machine) in the prize corner. Activities on offer include the interactive “Butterfly Wall” and the energetic BATAK game, which is designed as a simulation of the collection of sustainability actions for the planet. Fans can also pose for a photo with the Nitto ATP Finals trophy.

Nitto is using its title sponsorship at the Nitto ATP Finals to try to set a strong example of how sporting events can be platforms for positive environmental change. Two fans who appreciated that aspect of the fan village were Alessi Russomando and Francesco Stellato, who had traveled to Turin from their hometown near Naples.

“Sustainability is an important theme,” said Stellato, whose favorite player is Novak Djokovic, when asked about the activities offered in the Nitto booth. “We are living in a very difficult moment for our planet, so it is fundamental for us and for the next generation.”

“[It is] A fantastic atmosphere here at the tournament and in the fan village,” said Russomando, who is a big fan of his compatriot Jannik Sinner. “It’s relaxing to be here and see the champions.”
