It will be the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. New England’s return to the top of the mountain in the AFC concluded with a 10-7 victory in snowy Denver on Sunday afternoon. In the NFC Championship, the Seahawks defeated the division rival Rams 31-27.
Let’s look at the opening lines and my first best guess I can make.

Super Bowl 2026 prediction: over 46.5 (-110)
This is a showdown between two quarterbacks who were ā or still are ā in the mix for the NFL MVP award. While the Patriots’ Drake Maye and the Seahawks’ Sam Darnold are unproven on football’s biggest stage, both have performed extremely well this season. The weather conditions in the AFC title game kept New England from doing much of anything on offense, but Maye still got the pressure on some clutch plays. Darnold was great from start to finish in the NFC Championship.
The stars in this Super Bowl matchup also include Seattle WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is named NFL Offensive Player of the Year. All things considered, I think two dynamic offenses will prevail against two powerful defenses. New England averaged 28.8 ppg during the regular season; Seattle averaged 28.4.
