The Phoenix Suns may have changed a number of huge selection in this season, but predicting their start five to 2025-26 – despite all the new additions – is really not a difficult part. That is apart from the Power Forward role, a place that was abandoned by Kevin Durant and who does not have the Suns near his Hall of Fame level ready to conquer that cloak.
Working backwards to find out who the four will be, and Devin Booker and Jalen Green will form the defense half. This means that one of them is the point guard – a position is neither really comfortable – but it is also the two best attacking players who have the franchise. Then there is Dillon Brooks, who will be the defensive Quarterback of the three place. Mark Williams becomes the center.
The stage is set for Ryan Dunn to take the last starting place in Phoenix.
That Ryan Dunn leaves for the second year as the obvious choice to start the season as the four in the valley, and it’s not even around. If you play your mind back for a year, Dunn started the campaign from outside the arc. That quickly cooled – he finally finished a terrible 31.1 percent of 3 -point reach – but he hit that Rookie wall hard.
Dunn started with 44-of-74 games played, an impressive performance given Durant and Bradley Beal was on the Roster, and the expectation was to win. The team was also better defensive when he was on the field (115.1 points admitted) versus where they ended for the campaign as a whole (117.7 points allowed).

Now that the Suns are now shifting in a more defensive approach, Dunn will clearly excel next to Brooks and Williams. Better yet, Basketball reference believes he will do that Crack also easily 13 points per gameDouble his output almost double like a rookie. He will at best be the fourth option in that starting group to the offensive end, and that return would be great.
Adding a further layer of intrigues to his almost open-and-shut case was how Dunn took care of the basketball as Rookie. Per Glass He was in the 85 percentile of players who turned the ball and only gave him away when he was in possession of the ball 8.2 percent of the time. That was even better than Point Guard Tyus Jones ’10, 1 percent, although he had the ball much more in his hands.
But with the kind of spanning width and body type, thinn – plus his willingness to defend – this will be his place to start the season. If he could even make 35 percent of his shots of deep and continue to take care of the ball, he could get a most improved player love from the edge. However, the Suns do not need that, just another pulling choice to hit for them. The choice of people.
