Former Pakistani captain Yousuf Mohammed (previously Yousuf Yohana) led to indignation after abuse by Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav Live on television after the seven-wicket defeat of Pakistan against India in the Asia Cup 2025 Clash in Dubai on Sunday.
During a heated debate about Samaa TV, Yousuf deliberately disturbed the name of Suryakumar, and repeatedly called him a ‘pig’.
One anchor tried to c correct him politely, assuming it was a slip of the tongue, but Yousuf ignored the memory and continued his tirade. Another anchor reacted with a grin and fed the controversy further.
Yousuf then accused India of manipulating the match by biased referees and the match referee.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also vocal in his criticism since the match ended and accused competition referee Andy Pycroft of façade cladding at India.
Reports suggest that the PCB even approached the ICC to remove Pycroft from the tournament, a requirement that the administrative body has rejected.
