Champion trainer Emma Stewart has a shame of wealth while preparing for a record -breaking number of runners in the world’s richest harness races race.
Stewart and co-trainer Clayton Tonkin, who won the inaugural tab with 2023 with former Star Mare-Ciagnosticum, have only one of the six-confirmed runners so far, last year’s second place, but they are ready to catch at least two, perhaps three the remaining slots.
The stable set a record with three runners last year and finished second (Bay of Biscay), third (high up) and sixth (great pleasure).
Although the race was only 12 days away, Stewart said that she was not in a hurry to lock runners for the slots that were kept up close to stable customers, Danny and Jo Zavitsanos and Summit Bloodstock/Aaron Bain Racing.
“If there is something, things have become more confusing after (last) Saturday night,” said Stewart. “Miki for success went to win incredibly well at Menangle and showed that he was back to his best, perhaps better than ever.
“He must then be right in the mix, but Go Miki won very well in Melton the same night and fox then and then Buddy both won the last week impressive in Melton.
“We have not made any decisions and are not in a hurry.
“It’s a good position to be in and we don’t have to hurry anything.”
Miki as success, who did all the work and hit his rivals in Menangle in scorching, arrived from $ 20 to $ 8 in Tab Eureka markets.
Stewart’s depth of options is even more incredible if you consider two of her largest Tableka opportunities, always hot and very beautiful, his offside with injury.

Bay of Biscay remains a relaxation ($ 3.50 to $ 3.60) Tab Eureka favorite despite tiring in the last few steps after work when he celebrated the fourth Saturday evening in Melton.
The four-year-old was only struck 2.9 m in a hot race, but fellow major tab Eureka-greeding Fighter-Command (second) hit him at home.
Stewart is considering backup Bay or Biscay again this week, which would mean that the Eureka tab would be his third start in the same number of weeks.
“It is an option. We will see how he is and look at where he could race, if we go that way,” she said.
“It is frustrating that the options here are not great for him (Victoria), so we might have to look at Menangle if we think he should race again.”
Fox Dan and War Buddy will probably race in Melton, while Miki will be successful on his laurels after the beautiful Racenet Discovery win.
“It’s all hot now,” said Summit Bloodstock’s Jamie Durnberger-Smith. “You know how closely we work with Emma and Clayton on these slots. We have many great options and will be led by it (Emma and Clayton).
