Dallas -Stars -Admaker Jim Nill joined Dave McCarthy on Sirius XM NHL Network Radio on Wednesday and asked him where things are at Jason Robertson. Nill replied that the two parties are working on a contract extension and he wants to keep Robertson a member of the Dallas Stars.

Dave McCarthy: “Couple last before I let you go, Jim. Would be a Remiss if I were to bring any of the topics to the hand. I know there is a lot of speculation about the future of Jason Robertson with the club. He is an RFA at the end of this season. What can you say in terms of where things stand, in terms of a new deal for Jason?”
Jim Nill: “We are working on that. We have spoken to that all summer. I think it was probably a bit blown about proportion. Talking with other teams. It really came down to this summer. Everyone knew our caps situation. So I have every team they have to call, see what we are going to do, and who is available. And of course, that’s the name, that’s the name.
