Srixon ZXiR irons have launched as a new 2026 model, adding a game improvement option to the highly popular series.

Specifications and design of Srixon ZXiR irons
The ZXiR is a new addition to the Srixon series and these game improvement irons are aimed at mid to high handicap golfers who want more distance, higher ball flight and forgiveness.
The new release is designed for players who tend to hit their irons a little thin or low on the face and are looking for extra speed and consistency without moving to an oversized game that improves shape.
The ZXiRs are made from all-new i-ALLOY, a cast material that is approximately 10% softer than traditional 431 steel and provides a forged feel at impact in a game improvement model.
The softer alloy works with a new MainFrame milling pattern behind the face to reposition mass and improve ball speed and forgiveness, especially on shots low on the face where many mid and high handicappers tend to miss.
The long and mid irons use i-ALLOY in the body, while thinner faces maximize speed, while the short irons and wedges use the alloy in both the body and face to prioritize feel and control.
Srixon’s V-shaped sole design is also part of the design and provides better turf interaction, reducing digging and promoting consistent contact from different lies.
The ZXiR irons have a relatively clean, modern cavity look and are not overly thick across the topline and can be paired with ZXi5 or ZXi7 short irons for some golfers.
The ZXiR irons are available in 4-iron (19.5 degrees) to Sand Wedge (54 degrees).
ZXiR is joined by a ZXiR HL, a High Launch model aimed at players who struggle to get the ball in the air and suitable for seniors, newer golfers and slower swing speed players.
There’s also a special women’s ZXiR HL configuration with lighter, optimized components, while retaining the same face and concave back technology as the core models.
