Young Duo returns after a strong summer competition
The San Antonio Spurs have again signed Harrison Ingram and Riley Minix to two -way contracts, the team announced. As the standard is, the conditions of the deals were not announced.
Both players have contributed to the 4-1 record of the Spurs in the 2K26 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The re drawings reflect the continuous investments of San Antonio in developing young talent through their system.
Harrison Ingram’s growth
Ingram was selected by the Spurs with the 48th general choice in the NBA design of 2024. He played in five NBA matches last season while spending most of the year with the Austin Spurs, the G -competition branch of San Antonio. In Austin he was an average of 12.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists over 48 games, with 32.6 minutes per match.
During the Summer League, the resident of Dallas continued to show promising, with average of 9.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 23.5 minutes per match.
Ingram started his university career in Stanford, where he earned PAC-12 First-year student of the year in 2021-22. He later passed to North Carolina, where he played 37 games in the 2023–24 season and an average of 12.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. He was appointed as the third team All-acc.
Riley Minix’s Resilience and Production
Minix played only one NBA match last season, but made a strong impact with Austin in the G League. He on average 19.3 points and 6.6 rebounds over 19 games, despite missing considerable time due to injury.
In Las Vegas, Minix supplied solid versions, on average 11.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 26.5 minutes in four Summer League matches.
Before he came to the Spurs organization, Minix played four college seasons at SouthEastern University before switching to Morehead State. There he started all 28 games in the 2023–24 season and an average of 22.4 points and 10.1 rebounds, earning Ohio Valley Conference Male Athlete of the Year Honors.
Look forward
The decision of the Spurs to return Ingram and Minix to two -way contracts underlines their focus on the development of players. Both athletes have shown potentially and will try to eliminate larger roles in the evolving rotation of San Antonio.
