And for three rounds in Hawaii, the 32-year-old veteran is doing very well.
Spieth fought off two bogeys with four birdies in Saturday’s third round and shot his third straight 68 to open the season. The strong start has Spieth T13 at six under with 18 holes to play.
If Spieth wants to earn his first 14th career PGA Tour victory on Sunday, and first since 2022, he will have to get past solo leader Davis Riley. Riley fired a 67 in round 3, reaching 12 under and taking a two-shot lead heading into the final round.
