His only defeat in his career only came in this second Cage warriors was released in 2022, but since then the Ukrainian-born featherweight has been on his way to gold.

“Like I rate him a lot… it would probably be the toughest opponent for sure, like I’ve been watching him for a while.” he continued, saying, “I rate his skills much higher than the last one, like everyone else had a few things they were really good at or whatever it is, but he seems very well rounded.”
Known for his last-second finishes, Solomon Simon has said in other interviews that he wanted this fight to go deeper into the championship rounds and he elaborated on those desires:
“I want to push myself to a stage where I want to see how far I can go in my own head, like mentally, because the fight game is tough, like when you’re in challenging positions, when you’re wrestling, like when you’re trying to get out of positions, when you do things like your mind starts to play tricks on you and stuff, like those are like I want to go in there and like I want to fight those demons and I feel like he would be someone who could push me there.”
