Georgio Poullas is confident of beating Arman Tsarukyan in their upcoming wrestling match. Tsarukyan and Poullas will meet in a wrestling match on February 6 at RAF 6 at the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona. Poullas has no doubt that he will beat Tsarukyan more than once.
“At some level, anyone can take anyone down,” Poullas said in a recent interview. “So, can Arman take me down? Yes, he has a chance to take me down. Can I take him down? Absolutely, I have a chance to take him down. I think I’m going to take him down multiple times. The question is, does he get the $1,000? Can he take me down? … If you’re asking about a simple takedown, absolutely, 100 percent. I think I’ll get more than one takedown. I’ll add quite a few, if you ask me.”
A challenge worth over $1,000
Poullas, a former Division I wrestler for Cleveland State University, has gone viral on the Internet with his “take me down for $1,000” videos. Poullas is offering $1,000 to anyone who can take him down, which he says has yet to happen. While there is a video of tripping Poullas on his back, the wrestler-influencer denies being taken down, as he immediately reversed the position. Meanwhile, Tsarukyan (23-3) is considered one of the best wrestlers among active UFC fighters. “Ahalkalakets” has dabbled in wrestling competitions while remaining sidelined for the UFC lightweight title despite being the top contender.
Georgio Poullas, who takes on Arman Tsarukyan this Saturday at RAF 06 in Arizona, says he believes he won’t be able to score just one takedown, but will stack it against Arman, one of the best wrestlers in the UFC:
