Social media call it: the statue of Tina Turner is simply not the best


While some expressed general aversion to the image, many had a single point of fighting.


Rock and Roll icon Tina Turner was commemorated in her hometown with the unveiling of a 10-foot bronze statue in her similarity.

The statue portrays Turner with its characteristic moons of hers, who holds a microphone, captured in the middle of the performance. Sculptor Fred Ajanogha says he Searched to reflect Her stageergy. Another X user expressed infringement on behalf of the late icon.

While some expressed general aversion, many had a single point point – the construction of Turner’s Mane. Turner is known for wearing a crown of resilient blonde spikes. Spectators, however, believe that Ajanogha missed the goal.

The statue was built for a period of about a year. Ajanogha started the piece with clay in Atlanta. He then transferred the work to a foundry in West Tennessee to cast the last work in bronze. About 50 donors have contributed to the statue project, including Ford Motor Co., which gave $ 150,000.
