Six Kings Slam Final vs. Alcaraz precedes the performance in Vienna for Sinner

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will face each other in the Six Kings Slam final on Sunday evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It starts a busy end to the 2025 season for Sinner, who also has the ATP 500 in Vienna, the Paris Masters and the Nitto ATP Finals on his schedule. It remains to be seen whether he will also compete for Italy in the Davis Cup final.

The world number 2 has placed an emphasis on improving his serve during the long run of the year. It certainly worked well in the Six Kings Slam semifinals against Novak Djokovic, who defeated Sinner 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday. The 24-year-old only dropped a total of eight points in nine service games.

“Yes, I feel that way too,” Sinner said when asked if it was one of the best performances. “I wish it could be like that every time, but no, we’re trying to work on things (and) we’re trying to get better as a player. You have days where certain or specific things work very well, so today the serve obviously worked very, very well. We’ve worked a lot in the last month; we’ve been serving for hours and hours. If this is the result, I’ll be very happy.”

Next week’s Erste Bank Open in Vienna has an entry list that also includes Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Alexander Bublik.
