Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the top two seeds in the Heren’s Hirks on the US Open, which runs from 24 August – 7 September.
Defending champion and number 1 player in the PIF ATP ranking, Sinner chases his third big title of the season and could only meet intense rival Alcaraz in the championship match. The two stars have shared the last seven large titles, starting at the Australian Open last year, and Alcaraz leads their Lexus ATP Head2head series 9-5.
The 2020 US Open finalist, Alexander Zverev is the third seed, while home favorite Taylor Fritz, who reached his first grand finale in Flushing Meadows last year, is sown fourth. Sinner is expected to meet fifth seed and last year’s semi-finalist Jack Draper in the quarterfinals.
Ben Shelton, Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur are the sixth, seventh and eighth seeds respectively.
