Both Newcastle United and Manchester United have made formal bids to RB Leipzig for the 22 -year -old.
While Benjamin Sesko is said to be happy to become a member of both clubs.
Simon Jordan gives his judgment and comes down strongly on the United side about Man U.
Simon Jordan speaks to Talking About whether Newcastle United of Manchester United would be the better step for Benjamin Sesko – August 5, 2025:
“Newcastle United.
“I think because Newcastle comes with expectations, but does not come up with the same pressure as the man you come from.
“While people concentrate on Newcastle, they focus on it because Newcastle makes a lot of noise because it is a very passionate football club and the fans are very motivated by it. It does not have the daily control that man you have.
“It doesn’t matter what happens, you can leave a fart in the course of man – that has been heard all over the world. It is not the same at Newcastle United.
“You have Ruben Amorim who presents a 12-year decline of man you and Ocean Liners, don’t run fast, he tries to correct it, and I think he’s making a lot of missteps but we would probably all do if we were in his shoes.
“While Newcastle United, despite the frustrations around Alexander Isak, despite the frustrations of people who may use it as a springboard club, and they may not want to hear that, but it is a reality.
“I don’t think you lose a lot by going to Newcastle United.
“You go there, you play in one side that is ambitious, but is a step under the radar.
“You are going to perform at a high level, the chance will come again and it can be in a different stage in the evolution of man.
“If I am a center-forward that can pass the idea that going to the northeast of England is not as attractive as going to Manchester and by the way, Newcastle is a beautiful city.
“If I was in his shoes, if the economy of the deal was that I was not financially compromised by going to Newcastle United via Manchester United, I think it is a great step.
“I think Eddie Howe is a brilliant manager – I had my reservations about him in the past – I have already had conversations. I really like him and I think he has done a brilliant task.
He added: “So I would look at Newcastle United instead of Man U.”
