Aramayo is an experienced mining manager and strategist with more than 19 years of experience in North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa. He is currently co-founder, Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) and director of Kuya Silver Corporation (“Kuya Silver”). During his career, he is closely associated with the practices that define the world -class mining activities, including challenging projects such as Pueblo Viejo, Paracatu, Fruta del Norte and Tasias. His leadership gives priority to a fast, ESG-compliant development and ensures that projects efficiently proceed from exploration to production.
Aramayo is a chartered engineer and obtained a master’s degree in the science of the University of Manchester (VK) in decision sciences and a postgraduate in metallurgy. He further solidifies his technical expertise as Fellow of the Geological Society of London, a professional member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining UK and member of the Australian Institute or Geoscientists. He also serves as a consultant for other mining companies and is on the board of SICG SAC in Peru.
