“Symphony of Colors”as the route is called, it will show the public how Signac’s influence continued to determine the painting of his contemporaries. Visitors will follow the evolution of colorful painting as they immerse themselves in vibrant harbor scenes, landscapes and carefully composed portraits.
Among the exceptional exhibits is the sunny one Harbor at sunset, Opus 236 e The port of Rotterdam (1907), made during the artist’s stay in the Netherlands. At the same time, the route will not lose sight of the key role of the master within Neo-Impressionism, not only as a painter, but also as a writer, ambassador, collector and mentor.

Signac supported young artists, organized exhibitions and played an active role in the international promotion of Neo-Impressionism.
His influence extended to artists from all over Europe, as evidenced by the exhibition with paintings by Lucie Cousturier, Henri Edmond Cross, Curt Herrmann, Maximilien Luce, Camille Pissarro, Théo van Rysselberghe, Jeanne Selmersheim-Desgrange, Georges Seurat and Jan Toorop, among others.
