The potentially controversial chat with regard to the Olympia rules began when Milos Sarcev said that Kone Pearson, the back-to-back 212 Olympia Champ is, should also be able to compete in the Open Division.
“Mr Olympia is the best Bodybuilder in the world,” said Sarcev of winning in the Open Division, and explained that he could not understand why as a competitor like Pearson competes in the 212 finals on one day, why he cannot enter the open division during the Olympia the next day. “I open a can of worms again,” Sarcev admitted. “We are going to leave that can be closed and sealed,” host Dennis James joked, and noted that they did not have the power to make that kind of decisions. “I feel you,” said the threat. “I think the same thing.”
How would Kone Pearson Fair in the Open Division?
Under the current rulesIt is possible to qualify for the Olympia in multiple categories, but when the event comes, you must choose which division you want to enter. This scenario has often given bodybuilders a difficult choice about what weight they should make, or how they would be honest if they followed their hearts to another division. Chris Bumstead struggled famous with holding in the classic division when there is more money to be made in the open category. Milos Sarcev continued and suggested that Pearson had a shot to win, should be in the Open Division, acknowledging that this year’s final, with title defender Samson Dauda, Plus Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, and Nick Walker “will be out of the charts”.
