Shot Scope Pro X Rankefinder

Teacher’s comments: A great device from a market leader

Shot Scope on Amazon
The Laser Rangefinder market is currently quite busy. There are apparently dozens of companies that sell the devices. Some offer ramps such as side dish for main courses such as Bluetooth -speakers or golf bags; Others sell Alikes on different roast-and-act Alikes that are probably all made in the same Chinese factory.
Shot Scope, on the other hand, has been following golf shots for ten years, hand -held devices and laser tables.

The company, based in Scotland, sent me one of their adapted Pro X riding children for testing earlier this season. I have noticed that it is solidly built and full of functions.
Adjustment is the headliner here. With the new graphic program from Shot Scope, golfers, clubs and company buyers can personalize the Pro X with logos, event fire or memorial designs. With a minimum order of six units, it is ideal for Lid-Guest tournaments, buddy travel or even wedding bodies gifts. The Golf Blogger logo on the assessment unit came out beautifully and it is easy to see how this could be a popular option for clubs that want to add a personal touch to their merchandise.
If you buy a single unit from their website, they have a selection of pre -designed adjusted options, including “No. 1 Dad”, “Team USA” and flags of Canada, England, Ireland and Scotland.
In the field I found the Shot Scope Pro X quickly and easily to lock on the goal. The vibration of the target lock works well. The lens is clear and the 6x enlargement more than sufficient.
Adaptive slope technology gives you distance based on the uphill or downhill corner. There is a sliding switch on the top to switch it off for tournament purposes.
Shot Scope says that the distance meter is accurate to one meter over a range of 800 meters. I have no reason to doubt it.
The unit is light and firmly built.
A function that I don’t need as a Walker is a built-in Kar-Magnet. However, I have seen many people on the track with ranging children and Bluetooth -speakers stuck to the roof bars of their carts, so it’s one thing.
The Pro X is performed on a replaceable CR2-3V battery.
Over the years I have seen some discussion about whether it is better for a rankfinder to have a replaceable or rechargeable battery. My original bushnell ranging engine, if I remember correctly, used a 9 volt and I had to replace it quite often. It is now at the northern headquarters of Golfblogger, or I would check the battery specifications. Over the years I have assessed a few ranking children with USB -rechargeable batteries and a few with replaceable. I really didn’t make a decision.
My feeling, however, is that the CR2-3V will have a very long life. There is a low battery indicator in the LCD display; Before you go out and save an extra battery in your deskula.
All in all, I am very happy with the performance of the Shot Scope Pro X. The price for $ 199.99 makes it more expensive than some of those on Amazon with nonsense brand names (you know the kind of names I write about – names such as Yemsport, Dravix and Vorbex), but the price is in line with other name brands. It is indeed cheaper than a few name brands.
Recommended.
