In a shocking incident on board Indigo Flight 6e138 from Mumbai to Kolkata, a passenger was reportedly attacked in the air on Friday by a fellow traveler while getting help from the Indigo crew. Sources told Ani, a passenger who seemed to feel unwell, was cared for by Indigo Cabin Prew when another flyer suddenly struck him for no clear reason. The motive behind the attack is currently unclear.
Sources confirmed that Indigo has mentioned the behavior of the attacker as “unmanageable” and that the individual was transferred to security upon arrival in Kolkata. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) took custody of the suspect at the airport for further research.
